Our 12V batteries support up to four batteries in series connection and up to four batteries in parallel connection, and it's not recommend to connect more than four batteries in parallel.
If you want to build a battery system with larger capacity, you could consider purchasing our 12V 100Ah/200Ah/300Ah battery.
Our 12V 50Ah battery could be connected up 4 identical batteries for up to 48V 50Ah battery system(when in series), and we do not recommend connecting 6 batteries in series as it may damage the batteries.
If you connect the batteries in series to use, in your first time of use, there are two necessary steps before connecting:
① fully charge your batteries separately.
② connect your batteries one by one in parallel, and leave them together for 12~24hrs.And then, you can connect your batteries in series to use. Since then, you could recharge them together safely.
Since lithium battery from different brands has their special BMS, we do not suggest you to combine batteries from different brands together as a system.
Below are the detail explanations for why we don’t recommend to connect batteries from different brands.
1. Batteries from different brands have different cells. Although they are all LiFePO4 cells, their charging and discharging are a little different.
If the cells are different, there will be a little difference in battery pack capacity.
2. The over-current capacity and protection provided by BMS from different brands are different. Some BMS has 50A continuous charge and discharge and some has 100A continuous charge and discharge.
The protection value of IC is also different. The overcharge protection of IC is differed (e.g. 3.65v/3.75v/3.80v/3.85v/3.90v), and the over discharge protection of IC is differ (e.g. 2.0v/2.2v/2.35v/2.5v/2.7v).
If the overcharge and overdischarge protection parameters are different, it will affect the voltage difference between batteries after being used in series.
You could use a 48V battery charger or solar panel to charge the 48V (51.2V) battery system in series connection.
And to fully charge the 48V (51.2V) battery system in series connection, the DC charging voltage should be between 56.8V~58.4V, and charging current less than 50A (for 12V 50Ah battery).
Please feel free to contact us for more charging or connection detailes.

If you use your current alternator, you will need to add a DC to DC charger that can increase the charging voltage of your current alternator to 14.6V if you want to fully charge the battery by your car alternator.
Our 12V 50Ah battery with built-in 50A BMS, and it’s only recommended to be used for running the trolling motor with 20lb~30lb thrust. For running a 55lb thrust trolling motor, we recommend using the 12V 100Ah battery instead, which with built-in 100A BMS."
Our 12V 50Ah battery can work for the trolling motor. It with built-in 50A BMS, and it’s recommended to be used for running the trolling motor with 20lb~30lb thrust.
Our 12V 50Ah battery built-in 50A BMS, has 640Wh energy and could support max. 640W load power and max. 50A continuous charge/discharge current.
Our 12V 100Ah battery built-in 100A BMS, has 1280Wh energy and could support max. 1280W load power and max. 100A continuous charge/discharge current. And you could kindly help check whether the batteries could support your something pulling 3,000 watts.
We recommend that the 24V battery system should be matched with a 24V charger specification, then the charger voltage will be 28.4V~29.2V, if you need more information, please feel free to contact us directly.
As use the solar panels to charge the batteries will affected by sunlight, each of our 12V 50Ah battery supports max. 640W load power, as you’re using a 360W solar panel to charge our battery, it will take more than 640Wh/360W=1.7hrs to fully charge our battery with effective sunshine.
If you run 340W device, the load will last 640W/377W = 1.7hrs with a fully charged battery.
If there is 5 hours of effective sunshine during the day, it runs for 3 hours without any problems. If the battery is fully charged and only used at night with the load on, it will only last 1.7 hoursIt also depends on the amount of sunlight and the usage.

Our battery can be used well below 0C (can be normally discharged), but we don’t suggest charging the battery below 0C.
It is like most kinds of the battery in the market now:Operating Temperature: Charge: 0°C--50°C; Discharge: -20°C--60°C.
If you use your current alternator, you need to increase the charging voltage. Because if the charging voltage can’t reach 14.2V~14.6V, the battery can be charged to 70%~80% of its capacity and will not be fully charged.
You will need to add a DC to DC module that can increase the charging voltage of your current alternator to 14.6V if you want to fully charge the battery by your car alternator.
As this kind of module cost a lot, we suggest you use your current car alternator to charge the battery to 70%~80%, and use MPPT or AD to DC charger to further fully charge the battery.
